You will notice some changes over the next few days as we begin to upgrade the web pages to a newer version. Please bear with us….
It is time to renew your membership for 2021 – and the cards are in. We have 60 percent of our members already renewed. You can renew online, by sending your dues to the Post – or even better, stop by and visit the Post and pay your dues while you are there.
As a reminder, if you plan on visiting the Social Quarters please keep the following in mind:
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic, The Governor and public health officials have recommended and implemented stringent measures to help contain the spread of the virus. While our Social Quarters are only for the use of our members and not open to the public, we are still required to follow all laws and regulations mandated by the Commonwealth. Those guidelines require we not allow entry for those without face coverings. Our obligation is to ensure employees have face masks available for their use, which we have done and will continue to do. We are not required to provide or supply face masks for those who desire to visit and use the Post facilities. Once allowed entry into the facility, we are obligated to ensure proper social distancing be maintained and if the manager on duty asks that those requirements be followed, and an individual refuses to follow the guidelines, they will be asked to leave the facility. To argue or otherwise criticize those who are working and providing a service to the members is unacceptable. The guidelines and rules mandated by the Commonwealth are in place to protect the health and welfare of the employees and members and they will be followed. While we appreciate your support and patronage, if you cannot join with us and adhere to all of the guidelines, it may be best to postpone your visit for a while. Thank you for your consideration during these very difficult times .
All future Post meetings will be held on the Fourth Saturday of the month beginning at 10:00 AM for the Executive Committee and 10:30 for the General Membership meeting.
